Mary’s Children Mission

Our beginnings

In its early days, the mission was sustained privately, thanks to the generosity of family members and benefactors who know Fernando personally and his dedication to the most vulnerable.

In March 2022, encouraged by his example and having witnessed on the ground the immense impact of his work, a group of family and friends decided to set up a counterpart organisation to channel from Spain the material and financial support needed to sustain the mission.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”full_width_background” full_screen_row_position=”middle” equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” bg_color=”#f7f2ea” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” top_padding=”70″ bottom_padding=”70″ overflow=”visible” class=”mcm-split mcm-testimony”][vc_column width=”2/3″ column_padding=”padding-4-percent” column_padding_position=”all”][vc_column_text]

Hijos de María, España

This is how Hijos de María, España was born on 19 March 2022, registered as a non-profit association in the Spanish National Registry of Associations and pending its declaration of Public Utility.

At the same time, Mary’s Children Mission was officially constituted in Kenya as a CBO (Community Based Organization), with the purpose of carrying out non-profit, non-political, charitable and humanitarian work in the slums of Nairobi.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”1248″ image_size=”large” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”center” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default” el_class=”mcm-photo mcm-tall”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”full_width_background” full_screen_row_position=”middle” equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” bg_color=”#eef5fb” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” top_padding=”70″ bottom_padding=”70″ overflow=”visible” class=”mcm-split”][vc_column width=”1/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”1252″ image_size=”large” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”center” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default” el_class=”mcm-photo mcm-tall”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″ column_padding=”padding-4-percent” column_padding_position=”all”][vc_column_text]

Fundación Summa Humanitate

In May 2023 we began a new chapter in close collaboration with the Summa Humanitate Foundation which, after learning about our project, decided to place its material and human resources at the service of Mary’s Children Mission.

Since then we row together, always out into the deep.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” top_padding=”70″ bottom_padding=”80″ overflow=”visible” class=”mcm-split”][vc_column width=”2/3″ column_padding=”padding-4-percent” column_padding_position=”all”][vc_column_text]

Get involved

Every contribution allows us to keep walking alongside the mothers and children of Ngong. We invite you to become part of this family.

[/vc_column_text][nectar_btn size=”jumbo” button_style=”regular” button_color_2=”Accent-Color” icon_family=”none” el_class=”custom_btn2″ text=”Support us” margin_top=”10″ url=”https://maryschildrenmission.com/en/donate/”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”1250″ image_size=”large” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”center” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default” el_class=”mcm-photo mcm-tall”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
